Jiani Fan is associate professor of Comparative Literature at the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of Tsinghua University, Beijing. She obtained her PhD in Comparative Literature, Princeton University (three fields: French literature and philosophy, German literature and philosophy, and Classics).
